Litterateur Redefining World was launched in August 2020, with its inaugural edition marking the beginning of a vibrant journey in global literature and arts. ounded under the visionary leadership of K M Anthru as Managing Editor, Shajil Anthru as Honorary Chief Editor, and K M Santhosh Kumar as Executive Editor, the platform set out to celebrate the most talented and gifted creative minds in literature, arts, music, culture, and entertainment. Each edition is crafted as a unique showcase, with no needfor “Special Editions” as every issue is considered exceptional in its own right.
The magazine was inspired by the literary legacy of K M Anthru, a prolific writer born on April 2, 1937, whose stories and essays in Malayalam and English captivated readers for decades. Beginning his literary career at the age of 17, Anthru’s passion for storytelling and his unfulfilled dream of editing a magazine sparked the creation of Litterateur Redefining World. Though he became bedridden in 2017 and passed away on December 19, 2020, his vision continues to guide the platform, carried forward by a dedicated team committed to his dream of a truly international web magazine that unveils unseen and untold stories.
Since its inception, Litterateur Redefining World has grown into one of the most widely read digital magazines globally, celebrating its fifth anniversary in August 2025. Throughout its journey, the magazine has remained accessible to contributors and readers alike, published without submission or publishing costs, fostering an inclusive creative community.
As of September 2025, Litterateur Redefining World has evolved into partly subscription-based digital publishing and reading platform,of fering content in both Malayalam and English. The platform embraces a broad definition of literature, encompassing notonly traditional literary works but also writings and ideas across technical, scientific, and multidisciplinary domains. By curating content that spans literature, arts, culture, and beyond, Litterateur Redefining World continues to redefine storytelling and creative expression on a global stage.
