US-Israel-Iran War Enters Fourth Week Amid Conflicting Peace Signals By Global Desk
Iranian ballistic missiles slammed into residential areas of central Tel Aviv and other Israeli cities overnight, causing significant structural damage and injuring several civilians as the US-Israel-Iran conflict stretched into its fourth week. Similar strikes hit southern Israeli towns, including Arad and Dimona, where dozens of civilians were reported injured in recent days.static-cdn.toi-media.com
The attacks came hours after US President Donald Trump claimed “very good and productive conversations” with Iranian officials, announcing a five-day pause on threatened strikes against Iran’s power plants and energy infrastructure. However, senior Iranian officials swiftly denied any such talks, calling Trump’s statements “fake news” and vowing to continue resistance.
At the same time, Israeli forces, backed by the US, continued strikes in and around Tehran, where widespread power outages were reported. The conflict, which escalated dramatically in late February, has disrupted global energy markets, with Iran’s actions around the Strait of Hormuz contributing to volatility in oil prices.
The situation remains highly dynamic, with both sides trading blows even as signals of possible de-escalation emerge from Washington. Global leaders are watching closely as the war risks further regional spillover.
