SOLINGEN, GERMANY, June 30: Renowned poet and photographer Anna Maria Mickiewicz has been awarded Third Prize in the international “Forest Cauldron of Magic” Photography Competition, held in Germany, for her captivating photograph depicting the beauty of British nature.
The results were officially announced on June 27, 2026, during the 15th Midsummer Night Poetry Festival in Solingen, Germany. The competition brought together photographers celebrating the artistic and magical essence of forests and the natural world.
The international jury comprised distinguished artists, critics, and cultural personalities, including Renata Wojcieszek, Janusz Pac-Pomarnacki, Maria Pac-Pomarnacka, Elizeusz ‘Elik’ Plichta, and Joanna Duda Murowski.
Expressing her delight, Anna Maria Mickiewicz described the recognition as “a lovely summer surprise” and extended her gratitude to the jury and organizers for the honour.
The achievement adds another international accolade to Mickiewicz’s distinguished literary and artistic career, reflecting her ability to capture the beauty of nature through both words and images.
